Schutt Industries, the leading manufacturer of trailers for the U.S. Military, has been awarded a new contract for commercial M200A1 trailers from the General Services Administration (GSA) with a 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟏𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬.
The M200A1 trailer has a 2.5-ton payload capacity and is primarily used for power transport, providing mobile electrical power in the most tactical environments. The 700 trailers will be produced over the next three years.
