          Primary Job Tasks
    • Collect garbage from each department/plant and place into dumpster
    • Walk through each area and remove hanging shrink wrap, banding, etc.
    • Place banding into sheet metal dumpster
    • Remove steel and aluminum scrap from shop and place in appropriate dumpsters or semi-trailer
    • Collect cardboard from each department, bale cardboard in baling machine, and place in semi-trailer
    • Collect pallets/wood scrap from each department and collect any pallets/wood scrap laying outside
    • Place bad pallets/wood scarp on semi-trailer for disposal
    • Segregate good pallets by size and organization outside
    • Clean metal shavings from machine shop once weekly
    • Clean machine coolant (as needed or based on schedule)
    • Monitor needed supplies (i.e. garbage bags)
    • Notify appropriate personal when dumpsters/semi-trailers are getting full
    • Clean restrooms
    • Clean breakroom     
    Secondary Job Tasks (as needed or fill-in)
    • Assist with snow removal and shoveling
    • Yard maintenance (mowing/trimming)
    • Yard cleanup & scrap removal
    • Fill propane tanks
    General Requirements
    • Ability to stand the majority of work shift
    • Managing own time without constant supervision
    • Lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
    • Talking to others to convey information effectively
    • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
    • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
    • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
    • Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts.
    • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
    • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
    • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
    • This job requires wearing protective or safety equipment.
    • This job requires working exposed to contaminants (such as pollutants, gases, dust or odors).
    • This job requires using your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
