Engineering Manager

Education: 

-Bachelor’s Degree
-Preference of knowledge in SolidWorks CAD software
-Strong preference of knowledge in Product Data Management (PDM) implementation and execution
-Strong background in engineering change processes and related procedures
-Proficient in Microsoft Office – Including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Project
-Minimum 5+ years’ experience in engineering management in a manufacturing or industrial environment
-Preference of experience with welding per AWS standards
 

Tasks

• Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.
• Create blueprints and models
• Design projects from scratch
• Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
• Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities of engineering projects.
• Direct, review, or approve project design changes.
• Prepare budgets, bids, or contracts.
• Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand.
• Direct recruitment, placement, and evaluation of engineering project staff.
• Review, recommend, or approve contracts or cost estimates.
• Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work.
• Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services.
